OAKWOOD WILL TRY TO SNAP THREE-GAME LOSING STREAK AS STILLMAN COMES TO TOWN

After three straight losses to open the season, Oakwood University will try to pick up its first win of the season tonight when Stillman College invades Ashby Auditorium. Tipoff is set for 6:30.

The Ambassadors played inspired in their season-opening loss at Washington Adventist in a 71-62 setback, before getting blown out by
Point University and the University of Tennessee Southern in the Firehawks Classic.

The Tigers are 0-2 with lopsided losses to Warner University and Ave Maria University.

Newcomer Jaywill Thornton (Brooklyn, MS) is one of four Ambassadors averaging in double figures.

Thornton is averaging 14 points per game. Nicholas Kennard (Nashville, TN) is averaging 13 points per game, while Felix Mcghee (Montgomery, AL) is averaging 11 points per game. Judelin Prophete (Miami, FL) is averaging 10 points, six rebounds and two blocks per game.

Bailey Talley leads Stillman in scoring and rebounding, averaging 16.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.
