OU NAMES RODNETT AS INTERIM BASEBALL COACH

HODNETT NAMED INTERIM HEAD BASEBALL COACH AT OAKWOOD UNIVERSITY

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Richard Hodnett has been named the interim head baseball coach at Oakwood University, athletics director Simon Jacob announced today.
 
Hodnett replaces Jalil Rudolph, who recently resigned after only one season.
 
Hodnett served as the Ambassadors' head coach in 2023 and 2024 and was an assistant under Rudolph last season.
 
Jacob is in the process of finding a permanent head coach for Oakwood baseball.
