JENNINGS, PEREZ, RODRIGUEZ AND ROSARIO NAMED 2024 DAKTRONICS NAIA BASEBALL SCHOLAR-ATHELETS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Oakwood University baseball players Jordan Jennings, Erick Perez, Framber Rodriguez and Argenis Rosario were recently named 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced.
 
Jennings, a sophomore majoring in Health Sciences, is from Greenville, Miss., while Perez, a sophomore majoring in Theology, is from the Dominican Republic.
 
Rodriguez, a sophomore majoring in Management Information Systems, is from the Dominican Republic, while Rosario, a sophomore majoring in Business Management, is also from the Dominican Republic.
 
The 2024 list features 1,300 student-athletes from 165 teams who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution.
 
Student-athletes have to be nominated by the institution's head coach or sports information director and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
