KEYS NAMED HBCUAC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

NEW ORLEANS – Oakwood University's Saniya Keys was named the HBCU Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week, league officials announced today.

Keys was recognized for her performances from Dec. 16-22.

Keys recorded a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds against Tougaloo College in the HBCUAC Crossover finale. She leads the league in scoring (18.5) and rebounding (11.9) per game.

It is the 10th time Keys has earned a weekly award.
