OAKWOOD'S ADAMS, KEYS HONORED BY HBCUAC

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Oakwood University's Trenisha Adams and Saniya Keys were honored by the HBCU Athletic Conference Monday for their performances between December 9 and 15.

Adams was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week, while Keys was named Freshman of the Week.

Adams scored 56 points and had 10 assists in three games last week. She scored a game-high 22 points against Dillard University on Friday. Adams had five assists against Dillard and Southern University of New Orleans. She is averaging 11.6 points per game, which is in the top 15 in the conference.

Keys picked up ninth weekly award after recording three double-doubles while averaging 15.3 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. She played a key role in helping Oakwood down SUNO last Saturday.

Keys leads the league in scoring (18.5) and rebounding (11.8).
