OAKWOOD'S KEYS NAMED HBCUAC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

NEW ORLEANS – Oakwood forward/center Saniya Keys was named the HBCU Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday.

A 6-0 freshman from Cottonwood, Keys averaged 12 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in two contests last week. She finished with 15 points and nine rebounds in the conference opener against Fisk University. It is her fourth weekly award of the season.

Keys is averaging 22.3 points per game and leads the HBCUAC in rebounding at 12.4 per game.
