OAKWOOD ATHLETICS, HEAD COACH STANLEY STUBBS RELEASES 2026 BASEBALL SCHEDULE

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Oakwood University Athletics along with coach Stanley Stubbs released its 2026 baseball schedule today that includes a mixture of local, regional and HBCU Athletic Conference games.

The Ambassadors will play 45 games, including 21 HBCUAC games. All home games will be played at John Hunt Park.

Oakwood opens the season Thursday at home against Brescia University. First pitch is set for noon. The Ambassadors open HBCUAC play at Stillman College on Feb. 19.

The Ambassadors also play non-conference series against Alabama A&M, the University of Tennessee Southern, LeMoyne-Owen College and Tuskegee University.

"We've got a very competitive schedule," said Stubbs, who is entering his first season. "Not only do we play a difficult conference slate, but we play some of the toughest non-conference NAIA programs in the region, along with Tuskegee and Alabama A&M."
