HERNANDEZ, MATOS AND GRIGORIUS LEAD OAKWOOD IN LOSS TO SBC

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Jorge Hernandez had two hits and Jeremy Matos and Dylan Grigorius had one each as Oakwood University fell 19-6 to Southeastern Bible College Tuesday at John Hunt Park.

Hernandez went 2-for-4 and scored a run, while Matos and Grigorius went 1-for-3 and scored a run apiece. Jaylen Fairris, Dakota Cobb and Jayden Rolling also scored runs for the Ambassadors.

The game was tied 1-1 after the first inning, but the Chargers erupted for 16 runs over the next three innings to take a commanding lead and Oakwood never threatened.

Chris Aguilar (0-3) took the loss. He allowed seven runs, five earned, on one hit in 1.2 innings of work. He walked seven and struck out two.

The Ambassadors fell to 0-14 with the loss, while the Chargers improved to 9-9.
