The Ambassadors fell to 0-16 on the season, while the Chargers improved to 11-9. Game 1 Matos went 3-for-4 and had an RBI to lead Oakwood in the opener. Jennings, Perez, Tedrus Hamilton and Xavier Weldon also recorded hits in the game. Oakwood trailed 3-0 after two innings, but SBC scored five runs in the sixth inning and five more in the seventh to break it open. Dakota Cobb (0-2) took the loss. He allowed five runs, all earned, on nine hits in 5.1 innings of work. Cobb walked three and struck out one. Game 2 Fairris, Jennings and Perez went 2-for-4 in the nightcap as the Ambassadors kept it close through the first four innings. The game was tied 5-5 through four innings, but the Chargers scored five runs in the fifth and tacked on two more in the sixth to pull away. Fairris was 2-for-4 and scored two runs. Jennings was 2-for-4 with an RBI and scored a run, while Perez was 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored a run.
