HERNANDEZ, AGULAR RECORD HITS IN OAKWOOD'S LOSS TO FAULKNER

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Jorge Hernandez and Chris Agular had one hit each, but it wasn't enough as Oakwood University lost for the third time in as many games in a 22-1 setback at Faulkner University Friday afternoon at Harrison Field.
 
The Ambassadors fell to 0-3 with the loss. The Eagles improved to 3-0.
 
Hernandez was 1-for-2, while Agular was 1-for-3 and scored the Ambassadors' lone run in the top of the fifth inning. Agular singled with one out, advanced to second on a wild pitch, stole third and later scored on a wild pitch to put Oakwood on the board.
 
Akari David (0-1) took the loss, allowing 10 runs, six earned, on seven hits in two innings of work. David walked four and failed to record a strikeout. Overall, five Oakwood pitchers combined to give up 22 runs on 14 hits on the day. The Ambassadors hurt themselves by committing six errors on the day.
 
Oakwood visits the University of Fort Lauderdale in a four-game series Wednesday.
