JONES NAMED OAKWOOD'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.  – Anna Jones, a junior first baseman/catcher from Attalla, Ala., has been named Oakwood University's Player of the Week sponsored by Zaxby's.

In four games during the week of March 17-23, Jones batted .500, going 5-for-10, including a double, with three RBI and scored three runs.

Jones has the Ambassadors' lone hit in a loss to No. 6 Georgia Gwinnett College. On Sunday, Jones was 2-for-3, including a double, with two RBI and scored a run in a 9-1 win over Rust College.

Jones leads the team with a .341 batting average and nine RBI.
