BELL SHINES IN EXHIBITION GAME LOSS TO TENNESSEE STATE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Oakwood University senior forward Jordan Bell continued his strong play Tuesday night with 20 points and three rebounds in a 114-76 exhibition game loss to Tennessee State inside the Gentry Center Complex.
 
Joshua Barnett backed Bell with 15 points and three rebounds, while Tahj Evans finished with 11 points.
 
The Ambassadors shot 42 percent (29-of-69) from the field, including 35.7 percent (10-of-28) from 3-point range, and 53.3 percent (8-of-15) from the free throw line.
 
Aaron Nkrumah led six Tigers in double figures with 25 points.
 
Travis Harper II finished with 18 points, while Khalil London scored 14 points.
 
Dante Harris and Carlous Williams had 12 points apiece and Jalen Pitre added 10.
 
Tennessee State shot 56.9 percent (41-of-72) from the field, including 36 percent (9-of-25) from beyond the arc, and 85.2 percent (23-of-27) from the charity stripe.
