OAKWOOD SOFTBALL SIGNS NINE PLAYERS FOR THE 2025 SEASON

Oakwood University softball coach Bob Harris announced today that he has signed nine players for the 2025 season.

The Ambassadors finished the 2024 season 13-27, doubling their win total from a year ago when they finished 6-14.

The list includes two junior college transfers and seven freshmen.

"This is a very talented group," said Harris, who will have 11 returnees, including four seniors, back from his 2024 team. "I believe several of them will contribute immediately and hopefully will help us compete for a championship."

Softball will be a championship sport in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference next season with the addition of Stillman College and Voorhees University.

Oakwood's transfers include first baseman/third baseman Anijhia Mosa, who played at Ocean County Community College in Tom's River New Jersey, while Mackenzie Smith, a catcher/first baseman, is coming from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City.
