MORROW, ARNETT NAMED 2024 DAKTRONICS NAIA SOFTBALL SCHOLAR-ATHLETES

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Oakwood University softball players Jana Morrow and Sydney Arnett were named 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced.
 
Morrow, a junior majoring in Social Work, is from Moody, while Arnett, a junior majoring in Elementary Education, is from Andalusia.
 
The 2024 list features 1,250 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution.
 
Student-athletes have to be nominated by the institution's head coach or sports information director and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
