FULLER, MANCONE AND HALLMAN SHINE AGAINST LANE COLLEGE

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Kaley Fuller, Taylor Mancone and Ashlyn Hallman had three hits apiece, but it wasn't enough as Lane College downed Oakwood University 5-3 and 12-4 Tuesday afternoon at Ambassador Field.

The Ambassadors fell to 3-15 on the season, while the Dragons improved to 18-6.

Game 1

Fuller, Mancone, Hallman and Katie Johnson went 2-for-4 in the opener. Hallman had a double, two RBI and scored a run, while Mancone scored a run and Johnson had an RBI.

Oakwood trailed 5-0 midway through the sixth inning, but pushed two runs across in the bottom half of the inning and scored another one in the seventh. The Ambassadors had two runners on with two outs in the seventh, but couldn't get the tying runs across. They also left the bases loaded in the fifth inning.

Sydney Arnett took the loss, allowing five runs, all earned, on nine hits in seven innings of work. She struck out 14.

Game 2

Fuller, Arnett, Mancone and Hallman had one hit each in the nightcap.

Mancone had a triple, an RBI and scored a run, while Arnett and Hallman scored a run each and had an RBI apiece. Fuller scored Oakwood's other run.

Hallman took the loss, allowing 12 runs, eight earned, on 12 hits in 3.2 innings of work. She struck out four.
