OAKWOOD WILL TRY TO EXTEND WINNING STREAK TO THREE STRAIGHT WITH VOORHEES IN TOWN

 
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Oakwood University will try to extend its winning streak to three straight games tonight when it hosts Voorhees University in a nonconference game inside Ashby Auditorium.
 
The Ambassadors are 9-16 overall, while the Tigers are 5-15. Tipoff is 6.
 
Oakwood comes into tonight's game after back-to-back road wins at Southern University of New Orleans and Dillard University. It is the first time the Ambassadors have won back-to-back games this season.
 
Nekaya Williams and Trenisha Adams continues to lead the way for Oakwood.
 
Williams leads the team in scoring (14.2), rebounding (5.9) and assists (77), while second in steals (35).
 
Adams leads team in 3-pointers made (68), 3-point field goal percentage (37.6) and steals (44), while second in scoring (13.2), rebounding (4.7) and assists (62).
 
Tonight's game begins a string of three straight home games to close out the regular season for Oakwood.
 
The Ambassadors hosts Rust College Wednesday night and Tougaloo College Saturday night.
