Adams invitation to HBCU ALLStar Dream Classic

ADAMS INVITED TO PLAY IN HBCU ALL-STAR DREAM CLASSIC 2026

Former Oakwood University star guard Trenisha Adams has been invited to play in the 4th annual HBCU All-Star Dream Classic at the historic Holcombe Rucker Park in Harlem, N.Y.
 
The game will be held Saturday, August 8 at 4:30 p.m. and admission is free.
 
Adams, who just finished her outstanding career with the Ambassadors back in March, is one of 40 HBCU players in the country to be invited to the event. The experience will be the merging of HBCU sports, education and traditions with Streetball Culture.
 
A native of Rome, Ga., Adams was a first-team All-HBCUAC selection after leading Oakwood to its first HBCUAC East Division title this past season. The Ambassadors finished 16-8 overall and 10-2 in league play.
 
Adams averaged 15.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.6 steals per game. She led the league in made 3-pointers with 82 and shot a league-best 45.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Adams was also named to the all-tournament team after leading Oakwood to the semifinals.
 
She averaged 15 points, seven rebounds and 4.5 assists, while adding five steals and a block.
Participating athletes will represent the CIAA, HBCUAC, MEAC, SIAC, SWAC, Gulf Coast, NAIA and a number of independent conferences.
