HAMM, MATOS SOLID AGAINST STILLMAN

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Mateo Hamm went 4-for-6 with a double and a triple, scored a run and had an RBI, while Jeremy Matos went 3-for-7 and scored two runs as Oakwood University fell 10-4 and 9-1 to Stillman College Tuesday at Tiger Field.
 
Chris Aguilar had two hits, scored two runs and walked once, while Dylan Grigorius also had two hits.
 
The losses dropped the Ambassadors to 0-9 on the season. The Tigers improved to 4-1.
 
Game 1
Hamm went 3-for-3, including a double and a triple to lead Oakwood in the opener. He also had an RBI, scored a run and walked once.
 
Matos, Aguilar, Grigorius, Jordan Jennings, Ahmad Woods and Jayden Rolling also had hits in the opener.
 
The Ambassadors scored single runs in the second, third, fourth and seventh innings.
 
Oakwood led 3-2 through the top of the fourth inning, but Stillman scored six runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the victory.
 
Akari David (0-2) took the loss, allowing four runs on six hits in 3.1 innings of work. He walked one and struck out one.
 
Game 2
Matos went 2-for-3 and scored a run to lead Oakwood in the nightcap.
 
Tedrus Hamilton went 1-for-2 with an RBI and also walked once. Hamm, Jennings, Grigorius and Aguilar also had hits in the second game.
 
Argenis Rosario (0-1) took the loss, allowing five runs, four earned on two hits in 1.1 innings of work. He walked one.
