OAKWOOD VISITS DALTON STATE TONIGHT

DALTON, Ga. – Fresh off of its first win of the season, Oakwood University will try to pick it first road win of the season tonight when it visits Dalton State in a non-conference game inside Bandy Gym.

Tipoff is 6.

The Ambassadors are 1-2 after holding off Washington Adventist 61-56 Saturday night.

Jeray Randle led the way with 13 points, while Jaywill Thornton and Jordan Bell finished with12 apiece.

Damon Fann is averaging a team-high 15 points per game to go along with 4.5 rebounds to lead Oakwood. Randle is averaging 14.6 points along with four rebounds, while Thornton is averaging 11.5 points and 3.5 rebounds.

Dalton State, a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference, is 1-0 after beating Bryan College last week.

The Roadrunners are led by Matt Compas, Antonio Lewis and Kyoya Sasaki.

Compas is averaging 24 points and five rebounds per game. Lewis and Sasaki are averaging 19 and 13 points, respectively.
