MURRAY NAMED OAKWOOD'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOVEMBER 18

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Kamaria Murray, a 5-foot-7 freshman middle hitter from Murfreesboro, Tenn., has been named Oakwood University's Player of the Week, sponsored by Zaxby's.

In her only match during the week of Nov. 11-17, Murray had 16 kills, six digs and one ace in a 3-1 loss to Philander Smith in the 2024 HBCUAC Volleyball Championship in Bossier City, La.

The Ambassadors fell to the Panthers 24-26, 14-25, 26-24 and 19-25.

Murray will now turn her attention to basketball, where she will try to earn playing time at the shooting guard and small forward positions.
