JONES, RANDLE NAMED OAKWOOD'S CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Huntsville, Ala. – Anna Jones, a 5-foot-10 junior outside hitter from Attalla, and Jeray Randle, a 6-0 sophomore shooting guard from Climax, Ga., have been named Oakwood University's Co-Players of the Week sponsored by Zaxby's.
 
In two matches during the week of Oct 21-27, Jones finished with nine kills, 12 digs, six aces, three block assists and two blocks in helping the Ambassadors to a 1-1 record.
 
Combined, Jones finished with 18.5 total points for the week.
 
Jones' best game came in a 3-1 victory over Wilberforce University when she posted six kills, six aces, 11 digs and two blocks.
 
Randle was the Ambassadors' best player in a season-opening loss to defending NAIA national champion Freed-Hardeman.
 
He finished with 23 points, two rebounds, one assist and three steals in just over 30 minutes.
 
Randle was 8-of-15 from the field, including 5-of-12 from point range, and made both of his free throws.
