MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Sydney Arnett picked up a couple of wins, including a complete-game victory in the nightcap, and Madison Todd and Lessie Allison homered as Oakwood University whipped LeMoyne-Owen College 15-1 and 8-4 Wednesday afternoon at Toby Field.

The Ambassadors improved to 4-14 by sweeping the doubleheader. The Magicians fell to 0-19.

Todd (Florence, AL) and Allison (Blountsville, AL) both homered in the opener.

Arnett (Andalusia, AL) was terrific on the mound, while Mattie Earl (Holly Pond, AL) picked up the save.

Arnett got the complete-game win in the second game.

Oakwood improved to 4-0 this season against LeMoyne-Owen.

Oakwood visits Rust College today in its season finale. The doubleheader is slated to start at 1 p.m.
