Oakwood missed its last six shots from the field and turned the ball over on two other occasions down the stretch as Miles closed the game on an 8-0 run to come away with a 54-51 victory at Ashby Auditorium.
Booker II (Laurel, MD) led the Ambassadors with 11 points, six rebounds, two blocked shots and two steals.
Judelin Prophete (Miami, FL) finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, two blocked shots and four assists, while
Chris Davis (Washington, DC) had nine points and nine rebounds.

Rodney Battle led Miles with a game-high 17 points. Battle scored five of those points in the last two-plus minutes as the Golden Bears rallied down the stretch.
Yasim Hooker finished with 10 points.
The Golden Bears shot 36.8 percent (21-of-57) from the field, including 23.8 percent (5-of-21) from beyond the arc, and 63.6 percent (7-of-11) from the charity stripe.
Oakwood got off to a strong start, building a 24-13 advantage with just under seven minutes left in the first half on a layup by Davis. Miles battled back, outscoring the Ambassadors 13-6 for the rest of the half to pull within 30-26 at intermission.
Oakwood shot 55 percent (12-of-22) in the first half, including 57 percent (4-of-7) from 3-point range in the first half, but made just 27 percent (9-of-33) of its shots in the second half, including 0-of-6 from beyond the arc.
The Ambassadors host Fisk University Thursday night in their final regular season game. The women's game starts at 6 p.m. followed by the men's game 30 minutes later.
