OAKWOOD COMES UP SHORT DESPITE FURIOUS SECOND HALF RALLY

LEBANON, Tenn. – Down by as many as 18 points with 14 minutes left, Oakwood University put together a furious rally, using a 31-12 run to take the lead with just under four minutes remaining, but Cumberland University scored the last six points of the game to come away with a 79-76 victory Tuesday night at Dallas Floyd Arena.

The Phoenix, up by 10 at halftime, extended their lead to 58-40, but Judelin Prophete's dunk gave the Ambassadors a 71-70 advantage with 3:49 left in the game.
