WILEY NAMED OAKWOOD'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alexis Wiley, a senior setter from Sachse, Texas, was named Oakwood University's Player of the Week for the week ending August 23.

Wiley finished two digs shy of a double-double in the Ambassadors' season-opening 3-0 loss to Johnson College last week inside Ashby Auditorium.

A second-team All-HBCU Athletic Conference selection last season, Wiley finished with a team-high 19 assists and eight digs against the Royals.

Wiley and Oakwood will try to even its record Tuesday when the Ambassadors visit Bryan College. First serve is set for 5 p.m.
