ADAMS, HILL NAMED OAKWOOD'S CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Trenisha Adams and Jordan Hill have been named Oakwood University's Co-Players of the Week for the week ending Jan. 11.
 
Adams, a 5-foot-5 senior guard from Rome, Ga., averaged 14.5 points, four rebounds and 4.5 assists in a pair of wins last week.
 
A preseason All-HBCU Athletic Conference selection, Adams had 12 points, two rebounds and two assists in a narrow win over Tougaloo College and then had one of her best all-around games of the season with 17 points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals in a dominating victory over Rust College.
 
Hill, a 6-6 sophomore forward from Philadelphia, Miss., averaged 14 points and five rebounds in a pair of losses last week.
 
Hill had 18 points, four rebounds and a steal in a loss to Tougaloo College and then had 10 points, six rebounds and two steals in a close loss to Rust College.
