OAKWOOD WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO POINT UNIVERSITY

WEST POINT, Ga. – Kimora Jarrett had eight saves, but it wasn't nearly enough as Oakwood University women's soccer fell 15-0 to Point University Sunday afternoon at River Bowl Stadium.
 
The Ambassadors dropped to 0-2 with the loss. The Skyhawks improved to 5-1-1 with their fifth straight win.
 
Point scored eight goals in the first half and seven more in the second half.
 
Rachel Hampton had Oakwood's only shot of the game. The Skyhawks finished with 37 shots, including 23 shots on goal.
 
Brooke Wiseley, Naomi Tilley, Lizvet Chirinos, and Konstantina Kolouslou scored two goals apiece to lead the Skyhawks.
 
Oakwood is off until Sept. 21 when it hosts Calhoun Community College in its home opener at 2 p.m.
