AMBASSADORS DOUSE FLAMES, RUN WINNING STREAK TO FOUR IN A ROW

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Oakwood University volleyball won its fourth straight game Monday night, beating Welch College 3-1 inside Ashby Auditorium.
 
The Ambassadors downed the Flames 25-21, 27-25 and 25-17.
 
Oakwood improved to 8-3 with the win, while Welch College fell to 4-8.
 
Kamaria Murray filled up the stat sheet, finishing with six kills, four aces and 13 digs.
 
Harmonie Banks had five kills and four blocks.
 
Morgan Bone led the Ambassadors with nine kills, while Anna Jones finished with five.
 
Cameryn Bucknor posted a double-double, finishing with 10 assists and 11 digs.
 
Alexis Wiley had a game-high 15 assists and five aces.
 
Arial Smith backed Murray in digs with 12.
 
Michaela Pinkerman led the Flames with eight kills. Zoey Lincoln had 10 assists and 13 digs.
 
Oakwood is back in action Monday at Tennessee Southern. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
