OAKWOOD'S FOUR-GAME WINNING STREAK COMES TO AN END AT TENNESSEE SOUTHERN

PULASKI, Tenn. – Tennessee Southern snapped Oakwood University's four-game winning streak Monday night as the Firehawks came away with a 3-0 victory over the Ambassadors in a college volleyball match inside the Curry Athletic Complex.

Oakwood fell 13-25, 15-25 and 19-25.

The loss dropped Ambassadors to 8-4 on the season, while the Firehawks improved to 9-5.

Harmonie Banks led Oakwood with six kills. Kamaria Murray finished with five, while Anna Jones chipped in four.

Cameryn Bucknor finished with eight assists, while Alexis Wiley added five.

Wiley had a team-high eight digs, while Bucknor had seven. Arial Smith had five.

Ashlee Kraft finished with a team-high 10 kills to lead the Tennessee Southern.

Jelleny Mallozi had a double-double, finishing with 20 assists and 11 digs.

Oakwood is back in action Thursday at Fisk University in an HBCU Athletic Conference game. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
