OAKWOOD VOLLEYBALL REMAINS UNBEATEN ON THE ROAD

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Four players combined for 37 kills as Oakwood University volleyball downed Stillman College 3-1 Thursday night inside Birthright Alumni Hall in an HBCU Athletic Conference match.

The Ambassadors, who remained unbeaten on the road, beat the Tigers 25-21, 25-19, 16-25 and 26-24.

Oakwood improved to 7-3 overall and 4-1 in league play. Stillman fell to 2-9 and 1-2.

Kamaria Murray had 12 kills, seven digs and two aces to lead the Ambassadors.

Morgan Bone and Harmonie Banks finished with nine kills each, while Anna Jones had seven kills, four digs and an ace. Bone also added two aces.

Cameryn Bucknor and Alexis Wiley finished with double-doubles.

Bucknor had 21 assists and 16 digs, while Wiley had 16 assists, 15 digs and an ace.

Myah Beasley had 11 digs, while Arial Smith had seven digs and two aces.

Ava Cameron and Katelyn Lawson led the Tigers with 16 and 13 kills, respectively.

Kelis Conley and Domineshia Jones finished with 20 and 18 assists apiece, while Zoey Sales had a game-high 25 digs.

Oakwood is back in action Monday at home against Welch College. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
