BUCKNOR NAMED OAKWOOD'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SEPTEMBER 15

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Cameryn Bucknor, a 5-foot-4 senior setter from Huntsville, has been named Oakwood University's Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 8-14.
 
Bucknor compiled 27 assists and 20 digs to help the Ambassadors go 1-1 last week.
 
She had six assists and 13 digs in a 3-0 loss to Fisk University, but bounced back and had 21 assists and seven digs in a 3-0 win over Wilberforce University in an HBCU Athletic Conference game.
 
Bucknor, who leads the team in assists (76) and digs (47), will be back in action Wednesday when Oakwood hosts Tuskegee University inside Ashby Auditorium. First serve is set for 4:30.
