KEYS LIFTS OAKWOOD OVER FISK WITH GAME WINNER IN OT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Saniya Keys scored as time expired Thursday night to lift Oakwood University to a thrilling 78-76 overtime victory over Fisk University in an important HBCU Athletic Conference game inside Henderson A. Johnson Arena.

The win, Oakwood's third straight, moved the Ambassadors to 6-9 overall and 4-6 in league play. Fisk fell to 6-12 and 6-6.

Keys, who struggled mightily, was just 2-of-13 from the field before getting the game-winner to fall. She finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, four steals, three blocks and one assist.

Kamaria Murray led the Ambassadors with a career-high 26 points. She was 10-of-22 from the field, including 6-of-13 from 3-point range, four rebounds, three steals and one assist.

Trenisha Adams scored 10 of her 19 points in overtime to give Oakwood a chance to win. She was 7-of-16 from the field, including 5-of-13 from 3-point range, four assists, four steals and two rebounds.

Morgan Bone finished with 11 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, seven rebounds, three assists and one steal.

The Ambassadors shot 38.4 percent (28-of-73) from the field, including 42.3 percent (11-of-26) from 3-point range, and 61.1 percent (11-of-18) from the free throw line.

Keeli Burton-Oliver led three Bulldogs in double figures with 21 points. Dee Scott and Kayla Lee finished with 16 and 14 points, respectively.

Fisk shot 37.9 percent (25-of-66) from the field, including 40 percent (6-of-15) from beyond the arc, and 74.1 percent (20-of-27) from the charity stripe.
