BUCKNOR, MURRAY NAMED OAKWOOD'S CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Cameryn Bucknor and Kamaria Murray were named Oakwood University's Co-Players of the Week sponsored by Zaxby's today.

Bucknor is a 5-foo4 freshman setter from Huntsville, while Murray is a 5-7 freshman middle hitter from Murfreesboro, Tenn.

During the week of Sept. 23 through Sept. 29, Bucknor and Harris helped Oakwood go 2-3, including 2-2 in HBCU Athletic Conference play.

Bucknor finished with 39 digs and 90 assists last week, including a pair of double-doubles.

She had 18 digs and 35 assists to help Oakwood down Southern University of New Orleans, then had 12 digs and 20 assists in a win over Tougaloo College.

Murray posted a team-high 39 kills and added 15 digs last week.

She had a career high 20 kills in a win over SUNO and led the team in kills in three of their five matches last week.
