OAKWOOD VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO TUSKEGEE

TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee University struck early and often and went on to beat Oakwood University 3-0 Monday night inside the Chappie James Center in a college volleyball match.
 
The Golden Tigers downed the Ambassadors 25-12, 25-11 and 25-22.
 
Oakwood fell to 4-8 with the loss. Tuskegee improved to 2-5.
 
Kamaria Murray led the Ambassadors with nine kills. Mona Okello had 11 digs, while Miriangie Rondon finished with six.
 
Cameryn Bucknor had 18 assists to lead Oakwood.
 
Ma'kayla Jones led the Golden Tigers with 10 kills. Moriah Seay had a game-high 12 digs, while Mikea Allen and Amara Dotson finished with 21 and 10 assists, respectively.
 
Oakwood will host Fisk University tonight at 6 inside Ashby Auditorium.
