MURRAY NAMED OAKWOOD PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Kamaria Murray, a 5-foot-7 freshman middle hitter from Murfreesboro, Tenn., has been named Oakwood University's Player of the Week sponsored by Zaxby's.
 
In two matches during the week of Sept. 2-8, Murray finished with 15 kills, 17 digs and 10 aces to help the Ambassadors go 1-1.
 
Murray had seven kills, 10 digs and six aces in a 3-1 loss to Welch College on Sept. 2. In a 3-0 win over Rust College on Sunday, Murray finished with eight kills, seven digs and four aces.
