OAKWOOD VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO LIFE UNIVERSITY

MARIETTA, Ga. – Oakwood University volleyball fell 3-0 Monday night to Life University.
 
The Ambassadors lost 25-9, 25-11 and 25-16.
 
Oakwood fell to 1-3 on the season with the loss, while the Running Eagles improved to 5-2.
 
Cequoyah Harris (Forest Park, GA) led the Ambassadors with five kills, while Anna Jones (Attalla, AL) finished with three.
 
Cameryn Bucknor (Huntsville, AL) had a team-high five digs, while Jea Joseph (Huntsville, AL) finished with four.
 
Bucknor led Oakwood with seven assists.
 
Lauren Holcomb led Life University with 11 kills. Gianna DeVarenne and Elisa Fries had nine digs each to lead the Running Eagles, while Gabriela Rivera and Isabella Hanchi had 12 and 10 assists, respectively.
 
Oakwood will host Welch College Monday night at 6.
