BUTLER NAMED ASSISTANT VOLLEYBALL COACH

Kaayla Butler, a former Oakwood University volleyball player, has been named as an assistant coach for the Ambassadors.

Butler, a four-year letter winner, will assist Oakwood head coach Takhera Sanders, who coached Butler last year as a senior.

"I am excited to return to my alma mater," Butler said. "I had the privilege of playing for Oakwood for four years and earned my degree earlier this year. I have a passion for working with young athletes. I am dedicated to making a positive impact in their lives and helping them grow both on and off the court."

Butler served as an assistant coach at United Volleyball, a local club team, after finishing her career last November.
