MURRAY NAMED SECOND-TEAM ALL-HBCUAC

BUCKNOR EARNS HONORABLE MENTION RECOGNITION

New Orleans, La. – Oakwood University freshman middle hitter Kamaria Murray was named to the 2024 All-Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference Second Team, league officials announced today.

Meanwhile, junior setter Cameryn Bucknor earned Honorable Mention recognition.

Murray finished sixth in the league in kills (192), sixth in kills per set (2.16), sixth in points (231.5) and eighth in points per set (2.6).

Bucknor finished fourth in the league in assists (475), sixth in assists per set (5.34), seventh in digs (277) and ninth in digs per set (3.11).

The award winners will be honored during the 2024 HBCUAC Championship reception on Sunday.

Oakwood, the No. 5 seed, will take on No. 4 seed Philander Smith, Monday in Bossier City, La. First set is set for 9 a.m.
