Renee Smith is entering her fifth year at Oakwood University, including her second in the athletics department.

Smith began her career at Oakwood as a transcript evaluator before quickly being promoted to an admissions counselor position.  She then was named Sports Information Director and currently serves as Director of Compliance.

Smith is a 2009 Oakwood graduate with a B.S. degree in Fitness and Wellness and she holds a Master’s degree from Tennessee State in Human Performance and Sports Science in 2017.

Smith is the proud mother of one son, Braylon.
