OAKWOOD MEN'S SOCCER PLAYS BETTER, BUT FALLS TO USSU

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Allesandro Davis and Roger Johnson II combined for four shots, including three shots on goal, but Oakwood University couldn't find the net Friday afternoon as United States Sports University came away with a 6-0 win at University Field.
 
The Ambassadors fell to 0-3 with the loss, while the Eagles improved to 4-2-2 with the win.
 
Oakwood was outshot 21=5, including 15-4 in shots on goal.
 
Joel Sotomayor had the Ambassadors' other shot and shot on goal.
 
Jadyn McSween took the loss, allowing six goals. He did manage nine saves.
 
Adrian Pearson scored two goals to lead the Eagles, while Camrin Pearson, Asher Nelson, Ethan Gibson and Daniel Huguley scored one goal apiece.
 
Oakwood is back in action Friday at Jarvis Christian in its HBCU Athletic Conference opener.
