MURRAY NAMED OAKWOOD UNIVERSITY'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Kamaria Murray, a 5-foot-7 junior outside hitter, has been named Oakwood University's Player of the Week for the week ending August 30.

Murray, who also plays basketball for the Ambassadors, posted her first double-double of the season in a 3-2 loss to Bryan College last week.

A native of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Murray finished with 11 kills, 12 digs, four aces and three blocks on the night.

Murray and company will try to get in the win column Tuesday night when Oakwood visits Miles College. First serve is set for 7.
