OAKWOOD PICKED TO FINISH SEVENTH IN 2026 HBCUAC PRESEASON VOLLEYBALL

NEW ORLEANS – Oakwood University was picked to finish seventh in the HBCU Athletic Conference 2026 Preseason Volleyball poll league officials announced Monday.

The Ambassadors, who have advanced to the postseason each of the last three years, received 107 points.

Two-time HBCUAC champion Dillard University topped the poll with 190 points, including nine first-place votes.

Fisk University was picked to finish second with 182 points and four first-place votes, while Huston-Tillotson was picked to finish third with 154 points and one first-place vote.
