OAKWOOD'S KEYS NAMED HBCUAC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

NEW ORLEANS – Oakwood University center/forward Saniya Keys was named the HBCU Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week, league officials announced Monday.

A 6-0 center/forward, Keys was honored for her performances between February 3-9.

Keys recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds against Stillman College on Thursday, claiming her 15th weekly honor. She was 9-of-14 from the field and also had two assists and two blocks. She continues to lead the HBCUAC in scoring (18.1) and rebounding (11.4) per game.

It was the fifth straight week Keys had been named Freshman of the Week.
