Shreveport-Bossier, LA – October 3, 2025 – The Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is proud to announce that the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission has been awarded the winning bid to host the HBCUAC Men's and Women's Soccer Championship through 2027. The championship will take place in Shreveport, La., at Lee Hedges Stadium, bringing together six member institutions for four days of competition and celebration of HBCU athletic excellence. SBSC also hosts the HBCUAC Volleyball and Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The 2025 HBCUAC Soccer Championships will take place November 4-7. Details about the championship will be available by October 7 on the HBCUAC Tournament Central.

The Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission, known for its success in hosting regional and national sporting events, is preparing to showcase the city's facilities, hospitality, and cultural vibrancy to student-athletes, coaches, and fans traveling from across the country.
