MURRAY, BUCKNOR AND WILEY POST DOUBLES TO HELP OAKWOOD VOLLEYBALL OUTLAST WELCH COLLEGE

Box Score GALLATIN, Tenn. – Kamaria Murray, Cameryn Bucknor and Alexis Wiley all posted double-doubles and got plenty of help from their teammates as Oakwood University volleyball outlasted Welch University 3-2 in a nonconference volleyball match Monday night inside The Student Activities Center.

The Ambassadors downed the Flames 25-20, 25-15, 22-15, 20-25 and 16-14.

Oakwood improved to 10-7 with the victory, while Welch fell to 5-12.

Murray finished with a game-high 18 kills,17 digs and four aces.

Bucknor had 19 assists, 21 digs and four aces, while Wiley had 19 assists,18 digs and
three aces.

Anna Jones had eight kills, while Harmonie Banks added seven.

Cammora Robinson had eight blocks.

Myah Beasley finished with 12 digs, while Arial Smith and Miriangie Rondon had nine and seven, respectively.

Areli Vella-Alvarez and Zoey Lincoln had triple-doubles for Welch.

Vella-Alvarez had 11 kills, 16 assists and 11 digs, while Lincoln had 13 kills, 28 assists and 14 digs.

Michaela Pinkerton finished with 11 kills and 18 digs.

Zaney McKnight led the Flames with 19 digs, while Hayden Walker had 18.
