OAKWOOD'S MEN SOCCER FALLS TO TALLADEGA COLLEGE

TALLADEGA, Ala. – Oakwood men's soccer managed just one shot Sunday afternoon as Talladega College came away with a 13-0 victory.

The Tornadoes scored five goals in the first half and tacked on eight more in the second to win going away.

Oakwood fell to 0-1 on the season, while Talladega improved to 1-3-1.

While the Ambassadors managed just one shot, including one shot on goal, the Tornadoes finished with 28 shots, including 22 shots on goal.

Oakwood goalkeeper Michael Taylor finished with eight saves, but gave up 13 goals.

Tavar Lawrence scored eight goals to lead Talladega. He was of five players to score for the Tornadoes.

Oakwood is back in action Wednesday at Toccoa Falls.
