OAKWOOD VOLLEYBALL WILL TRY TO SNAP FIVE-GAME LOSING STREAK TONIGHT AT TOUGALOO

 
JACKSON, Miss. – Oakwood University will try to snap its five-game losing streak tonight when it visits Tougaloo College in a Gulf Coast Athletic Conference volleyball match. First serve is set for 6.

The Ambassadors enter tonight's contest 2-5 overall and 0-4 in league play after falling to Talladega College in straight sets Tuesday night. Meanwhile, Tougaloo is 1-10 and 0-3.

Oakwood's statistical leaders have been Trinity Williams (Midlothian, TX), Shaniya Brown (Dallas, TX) and Cameryn Bucknor (Huntsville, AL).

Williams, a freshman, leads the team with 45 kills. Brown, a freshman, has a team-high 76 digs, while Bucknor, a sophomore, is second on the team in digs with 75. Bucknor has a team-high 126 assists.

After tonight's game, Oakwood is back home on Wednesday, Sept. 27 against Tuskegee.
